Committed to presenting the recent works of China and international artists and works of great historical value, as well as diversified projects including performances, music, education and lectures.Mm Woods Museum has held the first solo exhibition of artists such as Paul McCarthy, Nicholas Patty, and giorgio morandi in China, committed to injecting the energy and vitality of contemporary art into the city center.Mm Woods Museum has nearly 200 pieces of art collections including installations, paintings, sculptures and images.

The Red Brick Art Museum, Located in Chaoyang District, Beijing, was founded by collector Yan Shijie and his wife Cao Mei and designed by professor Dong Yugan of Peking University. The building of the art museum combines with the surrounding land and blends in the original environment. Red bricks are used as the basic elements and some buildings are embellished with black bricks. It is a garden-style art museum inspired by traditional Chinese garden, and combined with modern landscapes, which makes it stand out among many art museum buildings.
The building has 9 exhibition Spaces. The recently exhibited collection is a total of 14 works by 5 internationally renowned artists, covering the forms of installation, video, new media and so on. Among them, the Chinese avant-garde artist Huang Yongli’s dramatic installation "circus" will meet with the audience again after the first exhibition in 2014 in this museum. Adhering to the value of "collection is inheritance, sharing is education" of Red Brick Art Museum, this exhibition presents the multi-dimensional thinking on both history and current situation of contemporary art.

On November 5, the 13th Beijing Olympic City Sports Culture Festival "Five Rings Medal Challenge" was successfully held. 103 volunteers of BLCU served in the event. The volunteers were distributed in seven positions, including indoor group guidance and indoor group events, to help organizers guide the participants and maintain the order . Last month, the military theory course for freshmen was officially started. For many students, this is the first time to systematically learn military knowledge, and also the first time to feel the charm of national defense knowledge. On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the PLA, BLCU will hold the first national defense education knowledge contest to learn about national defense and military knowledge, improve military literacy, and form a good trend of actively joining the military and supporting national defense construction in the campus.
